Part-Time Position for Mobile Crane Operator (Ideal for Retired Individuals)
We are a training provider specialising in lifting operations. We deliver CPCS training and testing every week and we are seeking an additional team member to operate our mobile crane on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will have experience in crane maintenance and fitting.
This opportunity is perfect for someone with a genuine passion for cranes, seeking a more stable and less demanding workload, who has empathy and patience, as you will be working with our candidates who are training and new to the industry.
Shift and Schedule:
Up to 20 hours per week
Monday to Friday between 8 am and 4 pm
No night shifts or weekends
Crane operation involves Terex, Grove & Crawler Crane
Location:
Permanent, based in Leyland, Lancashire

Responsibilities:
Operate our cranes in a training environment
Regular maintenance of the cranes to ensure they are in full working order
Complete daily and weekly checks
Report any faults and resolve issues
Conduct repairs on cranes
Maintaining training yard to a high standard
Displaying a positive encouraging attitude to the trainees.
Requirements:
Valid crane operator certification or license
Proven experience operating cranes
Empathy and patience as you will be working with trainees new to the industry
